A Big Bike MS Thank You

Bike MS Oregon 2019_17 fix it.jpeg

What a year! I am so grateful for all the support I receive on behalf of everyone with MS. We’ve come so far, and every bit of support goes a long way!

I had a few first-time donors this year, including my first ever donation from a cat! Somehow, while I was riding, Bella walked across the computer’s keyboard and ended up making a donation! How about that? Be careful everyone out there with cats. If you are not donating to Bike MS, you may suddenly find all of your money invested in tuna futures.

I’d like to give a special shout out to everyone who took part:

I also want to give a special virtual hug to everyone who supported me in spirit. There are those to take this time of year to think of my mom, and reach out to her directly instead of supporting the charity. There are also the people I touch throughout the year, those who don’t contribute money, but who ask questions and learn a little bit about multiple sclerosis and its confusing contradictions and mysteries. Thank you all! It takes a village.

Your support for bike MS means so much to me, my mother, and everyone else in Oregon and Washington living with multiple sclerosis. Since I started biking for MS, diagnostic techniques improved, drug that slow progression developed, and awareness of rare diseases increased. There is still no cure, and there is still no drug to chronic symptoms once they’ve manifested. You are helping us get there.
